In the Industry 4.0 era, especially with the increased availability of large volumes of real time data, the pervasiveness of cloud computing and increasingly connected digital knowledge networks, new ways to extend KM efforts are now possible, Among others, this talk will cover the expansion of KM efforts to external networks, new way to groom and enhance the judgement of subject matter experts, and the cloud as an e-canvas for orchestrating and delivery of knowledge services. Opportunities and challenges will also be presented.
